Our Mission

Community Catholic Center Inc. works in the Portland and West End neighborhoods of Louisville, Kentucky, to assist families in providing a Catholic education for their children. 

Community Catholic Center is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.

Throughout Louisville’s history, the Catholic church has held a strong presence in the West End neighborhoods. In 2003, Community Catholic Center was formed to enhance that presence, particularly through Catholic education. Since then, CCC has assisted families living in Portland and West End neighborhoods to send their children to Catholic schools.

CCC operates as an academic partner with families, students, and participating Catholic schools. We are a faith-based nonprofit organization that assists parents in providing a Catholic education for children living in Louisville’s Portland and West End neighborhoods. We also seek to foster community among our families and enrich their development through support services. Our goal is to educate, empower, and inspire Louisville’s youngest generation.

WHAT WE DO

Community Catholic Center supports families through every step of the Catholic education journey—from application to graduation. Our services include:

  • Needs-based tuition assistance, as determined by the FACTS tuition assistance application

  • Application and enrollment support

  • Ongoing family advocacy

  • Academic coaching and tutoring

  • Faith-centered community events and enrichment

  • Family engagement opportunities year-round

We believe that when families are supported, students succeed—in school, in faith, and in life.

THE IMPACT OF COMMUNITY

Since 2003, CCC has helped hundreds of children attend Catholic schools in Louisville. Our families not only receive financial assistance but become part of a vibrant, faith-filled network of encouragement and care. Many of our students are now high school graduates, college students, and active contributors to the Louisville community.
